Good writing comes from unexpected places and it doesn’t reveal itself right away.

I want to help print more raw, imaginative, nuanced, self-aware writing so it can hold space in the world. Stuff that is of a person, blemished, laughable even, but has a reason and energy.

More Weird Ideas will help move that material into the everyday world.

We share the writing we publish via: small shop distribution, online sales, special events, word of mouth, leaving copies in parks, hotel rooms, bars, bathrooms, airbnbs, mailboxes, dropping them with buskers, bankers, at gas station counters, wherever feels right, letting this work get its random chance of being found.

We don’t make any money, but I will pay writers a fair advance sum and cover printing costs. The writer will also receive a portion of the print run for their own use. The writer retains all rights to their work. More Weird Ideas will provide additional support through marketing, advertising and random promo.
